Contributors connect the common core with specialist subjects, sectors and communities. Their role may involve education, research, practical delivery, inclusion or helping people find a relevant route.
Audience participation is not the same as approved-provider status. Responsibilities, permissions and any commercial arrangements are agreed separately.

Selection
The demonstrator outlines an indicative six-week selection and onboarding model, not an established timetable or a completion promise. Checks, timing, decision owners and responsibilities must be confirmed for each application. An expression of interest does not grant approval or guarantee a live listing.
Expression of interest

Tell us who you are, which category you fit and what you would contribute to the pathway. A short form, no paperwork pack.
Due diligence check
Proposed timing. Weeks 2 to 4
A proportionate check on the basics. Trading status, insurance, safeguarding where learners are involved, data protection and any relevant accreditation.
Onboarding and listing
Proposed timing. Weeks 5 to 6
If checks and approval are completed, agree how the contribution maps to relevant outcomes, its responsibilities and any permitted listing. Publication requires a separate confirmed decision, not simply reaching this stage.
Standards
These are principles for discussion, not evidence of signed member agreements. Delivery, review, permissions and commercial responsibilities require written agreement before work begins.
Enabling, not replacing
Members strengthen existing education and training. Nothing in the pathway is designed to displace a provider's own accredited offer.
One evidence language
Whatever you deliver, learner evidence is expressed in the same Foundation to Gold outcome language so employers can read it.
Safe and governed AI use
Members follow the same guardrails taught on the pathway. Data protection, provenance and declared AI-assisted work.
No product capture
Technology contributions should support vendor-neutral learning. Ownership of existing and newly created content, intellectual property, licences and permitted reuse must be agreed in writing. Participation does not transfer ownership automatically.
Open to review
Review frequency, decision owners and the conditions for pausing or removing a listing must be agreed before approval. An annual review is a proposed approach, not an established service commitment.
Members and the living pathway
Members bring sector context, specialist knowledge and delivery experience into the pathway. That input keeps modules close to how AI, data and Smart Data are actually being used in real organisations.
Members flag what is changing in their sector so modules reflect live practice rather than last year's tools.
Specialists co-deliver, brief tutors and supply worked examples that can be taught safely.
Members help define what good evidence looks like and sense-check learner outputs against industry expectations.
Silver, Gold and future vocational modules are shaped with members around real job roles and projects.
These review patterns are proposals. Named owners, reviewer capacity, frequency and change approval need confirmation before they are presented as operating arrangements. Updates do not automatically change existing assessment requirements.
Proposed termly review
Foundation and Bronze content could be checked for accuracy, tool changes and safe-use guidance. Timing and responsible reviewers need agreement.
Proposed twice-yearly review
Silver and Gold modules could be reviewed with employers and members against relevant job roles and briefs, subject to agreed participation and responsibilities.
Proposed change-led review
Changes in tools, guidance or sector needs could prompt a review. New content would require scope, approval and agreed assessment requirements before release.
Subject to exploration
Some members may prefer to run the pathway under their own brand rather than ours. We are exploring a white label route where a member presents Foundation to Gold content to its own audience while the framework, assessment and evidence standards stay with EAS.
Nothing is on offer yet. Any arrangement would be scoped with the member, checked for quality and confirmed in writing before delivery.
Continuous improvement
Edge AI Skills is designed as a living pathway, not a fixed course catalogue. Employers, members, sponsors, educators, tutors and learners continually feed into the programme so modules stay close to the labour market, real job roles, emerging AI practice and changing organisational needs.
