AI Edge Skills is designed to align with existing education, apprenticeship and funded-skills routes rather than sit outside them. The pathway can support apprentices, T Level learners, college students, graduates, employees, people returning to work, people affected by AI-driven displacement and those not currently in education, employment or training.
For employers, this means AI Edge Skills can be shaped around existing skills investment, including apprenticeship levy-funded development where appropriate, employer training budgets, ESG and social value funding, regional skills funding, innovation funding and sponsored access.
Funding and eligibility depend on the college or provider, the relevant standard and the delivery model. Modules are levy-compatible, funding-ready and designed to align with funded skills routes where eligible.
